Flat rate prices at Teton County Trash Transfer Station.
Scrap metal	FreeElectrical wires, conduit, metal fencing, plumbing fixtures, aluminum framed doors and windows (no glass), and all appliances except non-certified refrigeration units. In general, items with at least 50% metal can be accepted. 55-gallon drums must have one end removed for inspection. Fuel storage tanks must be certified as decommissioned prior to disposal. Small motorized units such as snowmobiles, lawnmowers, snow blowers and motorcycles must be inspected by Transfer Station staff before being dumped; all fluids and batteries must be removed prior to disposal, off site.

Mixed trash	$153/tonFor small loads, there is a minimum fee of $10. Other materials or items may be charged at a different rate. All loads must be properly tarped and are subject to inspection, sort fees, or rejection.
Construction & demolition	$162 / tonPermitted demolition material; wood that cannot be cleaned of contaminants such as glue, foam, tar paper, stickers, drywall; creosote; laminate, particle board, MDF board or similar products; electrical wiring; Zip System sheathing; windows or any glass. Entire truss structures need to be cut down in 3-foot increments, with truss plates and bolts cut out. All PVC, ABS, plastic electrical conduit or composite pipes must be cut into three-foot or smaller lengths; loads not meeting this requirement may be rejected. All hot tubs must be cut into four roughly equal pieces. Railroad ties, pressure-treated lumber and Trex decking must be cut into three-foot lengths before disposal. For all demolition loads, contractors must provide asbestos testing documentation and 48 hours' notice prior to disposal.
Yard waste	$103 / tonGrass, leaves, branches and shrubs. Trees must be free of rocks, sand and dirt; stumps larger than 25" in diameter must be cut into 3-foot sections. Minimum of $10.
Concrete	$104 / tonConcrete/masonry block, no larger than 2'x2'x2'. No protruding steel, rebar or wood. Must be separated from other materials. Concrete may not be unloaded inside the Trash Building; staff will direct customers to the designated concrete disposal area.
Tires, bulk	$500 / tonRims that have been removed can go in the scrap metal pile.
Dead animals (domestic)	$153/ton (approximately 8 cents/pound)Minimum $10. Transfer Station staff will assist with disposal location and procedures.

Minimum tip fee	$10.00
Sort fee	$475 per tonImposed on unsorted loads. Loads must be sorted according to the criteria in the Sorting Policy Manual. Unsorted loads, or loads containing material that does not meet specifications, may be rejected; if an unsorted load is not rejected, the sort fee may be applied for the entire load. All loads entering the Trash Transfer Station are subject to inspection by Teton County personnel and Teton County's designated contractors at the Trash Transfer Station, Yellow Iron, and Arbor Works.
