Online billing customers may show their downloaded pdf. version utility bill on a mobile device, but for faster service a printed copy is recommended. Loads of 2,000 lbs. or less. Over 2,000 lbs. the full gate rate applies to the entire load, with no partial credit given. The homeowner is responsible for surcharges related to uncovered loads, crushing, burial, and appliances containing freon.

Bring the top portion of your current City of Scottsdale utility bill showing residential solid waste collection charges and a valid driver's license showing the same name and address; e-billing customers must print the statement, as cellphone copies or pictures will not be accepted. Vehicles are limited to a 3/4-ton capacity or less, or a capacity of no more than 1.5 cubic yards, and the load must weigh 2,000 pounds or less. The homeowner is responsible for surcharges associated with televisions, uncovered loads, or appliances containing freon. Customers paying cash need not present a utility bill, and no limitations on load weight and vehicle size are set.

Mixed trash	$60.00 per ton$30 minimum per transaction. All loads are re-weighed after disposing their load prior to leaving the landfill. Credit and debit cards accepted. Once leaving the landfill, all transactions are final.
Yard waste	$60.00 per ton$30 minimum per transaction. Yard or green waste includes leaves, tree branches, untreated and unpainted lumber, grass and plant clippings. Green waste should NOT be bagged; if brought in bags, the bags must be open and emptied at the time of discard in the landfill's green waste area.
Yard waste, rejected	$70.00 per ton$35 minimum per transaction. Palm fronds, cactus, oleanders, bamboo, grass, sod, and chipped wood, etc.
Soil or sod, clean fillResidential	$60.00 a ton$30 minimum per transaction. Clean fill is earthen material (soil) that is uncontaminated with any chemicals such as petroleum products, volatile organics and/or pesticides/herbicides. Some rocks and stones are permitted but it must be mostly soil, with minimal vegetation; sod and soil containing large clods are not accepted. A deposit is required upon entry, based off 20% of gross vehicle weight.
Appliances	$60.00 per ton$30 minimum per transaction, plus a $30.00 freon extraction surcharge for refrigerators, freezers, and a/c units. Stoves, water heaters, dish washers, refrigerators, washers and dryers, etc. are accepted.

Appliances, freon extraction	$30.00Charged for refrigerators, freezers, and a/c units, in addition to the weight based tipping fee. Refrigerated units include refrigerators, freezers, room air conditioners, packaged terminal heat pumps, dehumidifiers, ice makers, vending machines, and drinking water coolers. The fee applies where the landfill must verify and handle refrigerant removal; verification requires signed statements, the name, address and location of the person who removed the refrigerant, and the date of recovery, or a contract that refrigerant will be removed prior to delivery. No person may recover refrigerant unless the person has been certified and has the proper recovery equipment.
