| Mixed trash | $5.25 per load (including tax)Excess trash, yard waste, and large items, for residents and small commercial customers only. 1 Load = 4x8x2. Any vehicle transporting material to any City Convenience Center is limited to a rated capacity of under two tons. Vehicles plus trailers that are 40 feet combined in length are accepted. Appliances – 2 allowed with refrigerant intact; please remove all food from refrigerators and freezers prior to disposal. Up to 10 mattresses per residential or small commercial customer. Up to 5 tires (auto/small truck) per customer. Only 9 cubic feet (2 wheelbarrow loads) of concrete, dirt, rock, gravel, or brick is allowed. Up to 10 pallets and up to 10 railroad ties per customer. Tree stumps or limbs cannot be larger than 18 inches in diameter including the tree root 'ball' and no longer than 8 feet total. Customers must bag all insulation prior to disposal. No hazardous waste, medical waste, infectious waste, dead animals, ammunition, firearms, hot or smoldering waste, construction or demolition debris including drywall and carpet, roofing materials, waste containing free liquids, fire extinguishers, or compressed gas cylinders. The City reserves the right to refuse any load or items that might cause injury to personnel or damage to equipment. Cash, check, Mastercard, Visa and American Express accepted. |
