All customers wanting to dispose of asbestos containing waste must give 24 hours notice before being allowed to dispose of the waste. Every waste containing asbestos must be double bagged in 6 mil poly bags and must be wet inside the bags. All bags or containers must be labeled with the name of the waste generator and the location where the waste was generated. All loads of asbestos must be accompanied by a waste shipment record. All whole building demolition waste must be accompanied by a document of proof of asbestos removal or the non-containment of asbestos. Customers must unload their own asbestos waste and must have qualified personnel with them when unloading waste in case of accidental bag tears or spills. |
