Fees
| Credit card processing fee | $0 to $50.00 is $2.00; $51.00 to $100 is $2.50; $2.50 for each additional $100.00The Landfill accepts credit cards for charges of $10.00 or more. Payment is expected at time of service; credit cards, cash or local checks only. |
| Dirty dumper fee | $250.00 per ton, with a minimum fee of $250.00 for loads weighing less than one tonCharged to individuals or businesses that fail to sort waste and dispose of their loads according to the Landfill rules: loads of branches and stumps must not contain rocks, dirt, animals, scrap lumber, scrap metal or other mixed materials; loads of scrap metal must not contain rocks, dirt, animals, scrap lumber or other mixed materials; scrap metal must be at least 75% metal; misrepresentation of the materials within a load is prohibited; all electronic waste may not be dumped in the trash pile and must be recycled. The fee applies for each violation and is levied at the sole discretion of the County Landfill staff. |
